LASER PROTECTIVE LENS

Laser welding machines are classified as hazardous due to invisible laser beams. These devices emit beams with wavelengths of 1060-1080nm. Direct or indirect exposure to such light intensity can cause serious damage to the eyes and skin. These infrared rays are invisible to the naked eye but can cause permanent damage to the cornea or retina.

Laser protective eyewear protects against reflected rays but does not protect against the laser beam itself. Never look directly at it, and certified laser protective eyewear suitable for 1080nm wavelength should be used.
